In March of 2018, Orlando Buck weighed 390 pounds. He couldn't sleep and was having a hard time even tying his shoes. He decided to do something about it. Now, 150 pounds lighter - he's decided to tackle an ultra marathon. 70 Years Old and Still Running 3 hour Marathons and Long Long Distances I recently came across an article about Gene Dykes and his attempt to break the marathon world record for the 70 year old age group. As long as we live, no story ever really ends. One way or another, what appears to be the end is always just another beginning. Nothing makes that truer to me than running. I ran the uncorked half marathon in New Kent, VA this morning. And pretty early in this one, the race stuck a cork in me.
